Margaret Meeks Cowan, Casey Co., KY (1932-2015) She was a native of Casey County, KY, the daughter of the late Jesse D. and Ethel B. Emerson Meeks. At age 8, she moved to Ohio and later attended Hughes High School in Cincinnati, OH. She was baptized October 15, 1950 at Lockland Baptist Church in Lockland, OH. She moved to Kentucky in 1971 and attended the Danville School of Nursing. Mrs. Cowan later retired as a LPN from the VA Medical Center. She leaves 19 direct living descendants.
