Hilda Cox passed away at 4:15pmET, Monday, January 19, 2015, in Burkesville, at the age of 77.

A graveside service was held at 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Jesus Name Church in Campbellsville, by Elder Jimmie Sharp.


Hilda Cox, 77, Cumberland Co., KY (1937-2015)

Hilda Cox was the daughter of the late Ben Osborne and Minnie Osborne. She was born July 31, 1937, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Monday, January 19, 2015 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 77 years, five months, and 19 days.

Hilda professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired nursing assistant. She united in marriage to George Cox, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by:
  • A son, Terry Sharp
  • A daughter, Susie Clark, and husband, Timmy of Campbellsville
  • A son, Randy Sharp, and his wife, Tammy of Lexington;
  • Two grandchildren: Dennis Clark and Melanie Clark of Campbellsville;
  • Three great-grandchildren: Maddox Clark, Kadence Clark and Jadah Deering;
  • One brother and one sister: Wesley Osborne of Greensburg and Martha Helen Osborne of Bardstown;
  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be donations to funeral expenses and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
