LWC Basketball 10 Jan 2015: Women 86. Fisk 26

Johnson scores career-high 14 points as No. 22 Women’s Basketball defeats Fisk 86-26 on Sat, 10 January 2015, at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

COLUMBIA, KY - The 22nd-ranked Lindsey Wilson women’s basketball team defeated Fisk (TN) 86-26 Saturday afternoon, at Biggers Sports Center.

The stifling Blue Raider defense forced 18 Lady Bulldog turnovers and did not allow a three-point basket as Fisk went 0-for-12 from beyond the arc.



The Blue Raiders finished the game with a 41.4 field goal percentage, while the Lady Bulldogs shot just 13.8 percent from the floor.

Chanel Roberts scored a game-high 16 points and totaled eight rebounds, while Michelle Montgomery posted her second double-double of the season tying her career-high with 13 points and adding 10 boards. Ashley Johnson scored a career-high 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting.

Kimtrice Cox led Fisk with 13 points and Telliya Patton pitched in six points and eight rebounds.
