LWC faculty focus on research before spring semester start

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College faculty heard Wednesday afternoon from one of the nation's leading researchers in counseling.
Richard Balkin of the University of Louisville discussed research opportunities and possibilities for the LWC faculty, who have increased their focus on research over the last year.
Balkin is editor of the prestigious Journal of Counseling and Development, the flagship journal for the American Counseling Association. He is past editor of Counseling and Values, and Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development.
Balkin is recipient of the American Counseling Association's Best Practices Research Award and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision's Counseling Vision and Innovation Award. His research includes counseling outcomes and counseling adolescents, and cultural differences in counseling.
LWC's 2015 spring semester starts Wednesday, January 14. 2015.
