Lillian Lane Scott, 100, Metcalfe County, KY (d. 31 Dec 2014)

She was the widow of Loring Scott, and a member of a highly regarded, widely known Sulphur Well family. She was the oldest member of the Sulphur Well United Methodist Church, celebrating her 100th birthday when SW UMC celebrated its 100th birthday this past year. She leaves four direct living descendants.

Lillian Lane Scott, 100, of Sulphur Well, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Sunday, January 4, 2014, 2015 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the J.B. Smith Cemetery in Sulphur Well, KY. Visitation will be from noon on Sunday until service time at the funeral home.



She was the widow of the late Loring Scott.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her son: Kendrick (Betsy) Scott, Frankfort, KY.

  • Grand daughters: Elizabeth Scott and Sarah Hall

  • A great granddaughter: Lillian Hall
