Mr. John Bernard Leibeck, Campbellsville, KY (1928-2014)

He was the patriarch of a highly regarded family. He was a native of Monroe County, NY,and a resident of Taylor County, KY at the time of his death. He leaves six direct living descendants, including a daughter, Betsy Fausnaugh of Adair County, KY. He worked the majority of his life as a salesman, and was passionate about helping children as a volunteer for the Lion's Clubs. He professed faith in Christ, and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. John Bernard Leibeck departed this life on December 23, 2014 at his home in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Leibeck were held privately.



Mr. John Bernard Leibeck, Taylor County, KY (1928-2014)

Mr. John Bernard Leibeck was born on September 21, 1928 to the late William and Lena Leibeck in Spencerport, Monroe County, New York. He departed this life on December 23, 2014 at his home in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, having attained the age of 86 years, three months, and two days.

He worked the majority of his life as a salesman, and was passionate about helping children as a volunteer for the Lion's Clubs. He professed faith in Christ, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by:
  • One son: Jon Leibeck of Campbellsville, KY

  • One daughter: Elizabeth "Betsy" Fausnaugh and husband Gary, of Columbia, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • And several other extended family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Dunning) Leibeck, and a brother, Wilbur Leibeck.
