Mrs. Carolyn Jewell Milby, Green Co., KY (1945-2014)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and farmer. She was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late William and Lorene Edwards Jewel and the widow of R.C. Milby, Jr. She leaves eight direct living descendants.

Mrs. Carolyn Jewell Milby departed this life Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her home in the Summersville Community of Green County, KY.

A graveside service will be 2pmCT, Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the Aetna Grove Cemetery with Rev. Leslie Jewell officiating.

Mrs. Carolyn Jewell Milby was born Tuesday, July 3, 1945 in Green County, KY to the late William and Lorene Edwards Jewell. She departed this life Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her home in the Summersville Community of Green County, having attained the age of sixty-nine years, five months and twenty-four days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and farmer.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death August 9, 2011 by her husband, R.C. Milby., Jr.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Nancy Milby Tucker and her husband Mike of Summersville, KY

  • Two sons and one daughter-in-law: Ricky Wayne Milby of Summersville, KY; and John and Kristin Milby of Lebanon, KY

  • One brother: Leon Jewell of Greensburg, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Kayla Milby, Harley Tucker, John-Michael Milby, Greer Milby and Patrick Milby

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends.
