Funeral service for Mary Catherine Shearer will be 1pmCT, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Visitation after 5pmCT, Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Burial will be in the Shearer Cemetery. Pallbearers: Cody Grant, James Gordan, Jimmy Grant, James Oakes, Larry Jeffries, and Chris Hites. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Ethel Marie Newton Wise. She died Saturday, December 27, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 83 years, eight months, and 23 days. She was a former employee of Russell Sportswear. In addition to her parents, she was preceded inn death by her husband, Herlon Shearer; three children, Linda Ann Hites, Richard Wayne Hites, and Terrence Lee Hites. Survivors include the following:
