Tressie Hunt, Taylor County, KY (1926-2014)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after eighteen years of service and had also helped her husband manage their business, "Earl's TV, Furniture and Repair" for eighteen years. She was born in Taylor County, KY, and was a resident at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Hubbie Graham and Bessie Caulk Graham, and the widow of Earl Hunt, her husband of over 44 years.

Tressie Hunt of Campbellsville, KY died at 4:45pmET, Thursday, December 18, 2014, in Campbellsville. She was 88. The funeral service will bea at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY.

Tressie Hunt of Campbellsville, KY, was the daughter of the late Hubbie Graham and Bessie Caulk Graham. She was born April 1, 1926, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Thursday, December 18, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 88 years, eight months, and 17 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after eighteen years of service and had also helped her husband manage their business, "Earl's TV, Furniture and Repair" for eighteen years.

She united in marriage to Earl Hunt October 3, 1956. He preceded her in death June 13, 2001.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Sherry Hunt of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandsons: Austin Hunt and Matthew Hunt of Greensburg, KY

  • One granddaughter: Brooklyn Watson

  • One brother and one sister: Roy Graham and Goldie Graham of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers-in-law: Bert Rhodes, Jr. and wife, Florence of Campbellsville, KY; and Tommy Hunt and wife, Arlene of Campbellsville;

  • Two sisters-in-law: Betty Jean Graham and Dorothy Graham of Campbellsville;
  • Special niece: Shirley Newcomb of Campbellsville, KY

  • Special cousin, Dixie Wise of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several other nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister, Edgar Graham, Robert Graham, James Earl Graham, Freddie Graham and Lorene Rhodes.
