Campbellsville University will graduate 210 students today Ceremonies will take place at at 1pmCT/2pmET and another one at 3pmCT/4pmET Click on headline for complete details By Terry Harris News from Campbellsville University CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Campbellsville University will award 210 graduate and undergraduate degrees in two ceremonies in her December commencement today, Friday, December 12, in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, at 1pmCT/2pmET and another one at 3pmCT/4pmET. Dr. Michael V. Carter, who is serving in his 16th year as president, and Dr. Frank Cheatham, who is senior vice president for academic affairs, will confer the degrees and present the students' names, respectively, at both ceremonies. The first ceremony at 1pmCT/2pmET will feature students earning bachelor of science, bachelor of arts, bachelor of music and the bachelor of science in business administration degrees. The second ceremony will be at 3pmCT/4pmET and will include students receiving the master of arts in music, master of arts in organizational leadership, master of arts in school improvement, master of arts in special education, master of arts in teaching English to speakers of other languages, Master of business administration, master in management and leadership, master of music in conducting, master of music in music education, master of science in counseling, master of social work, master of theology, bachelor of science in nursing, bachelor of social work, associate degree in nursing and associate of science. The graduates receiving degrees are as follows: 29 associate degrees in nursing; seven associate of science; five bachelor of arts; four bachelor of music; 56 bachelor of science; 17 bachelor of social work; 24 bachelor of science in business administration; four master of art in music; four master of arts in organizational leadership; one master of art in school improvement; one master of arts in teaching English to speakers of other languages; 12 master of business administration; one master in management and leadership; one master of music in conducting; one master of music in music education; 21 master of social work; four master of arts in special education; one master of music in music performance; eight bachelor of science in nursing; six master of theology; and three master of science in counseling. Paula Smith, director of alumni relations, will install the alumni. There will be a senior walk at 12:15pmCT/1:15pmET for the 1pmCT/2pmET, ceremony, and another walk at 2:15pmCT/4pmET, for the 3pmCT/4pmCT ceremony. The walks will begin in the Davenport Student Commons and move to Ransdell Chapel. DVDs of the graduation ceremony will be sold. You can purchase the DVD by contacting Jeannie Clark, producer for broadcast/digital media. The DVDs will be sold for $25, and orders will be taken at the lobby in the chapel before the ceremonies. Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,600 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master's degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs.
