David Lee Shearer, Adair County, KY (1942-2014) He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War; a member of Sparksville Baptist Church and a former welder at Majestic Yachts. He died Monday, December 1, 2014, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 72 years, two months, and 14 days. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Hazel Wright, Pearl Sandefur, Opal Moore, Clara Whitaker, Jewell Hadley and Wilmoth Loy; and two brothers, Floyd and Boyd Shearer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War; a member of Sparksville Baptist Church and a former welder at Majestic Yachts. Survivors include:
