Lois Marie Robertson, Russell Co., KY (1924-2014)

She was the matriarch of a large, highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Lucian and Nannie Bradley Luttrell and the widow of Willis Roberton. She leaves 33 direct living descendants. She was a homemaker and a member of New Friendship United Baptist Church.

Lois Marie Robertson, 90, of Russell Springs, died Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Russell County Hospital.

Funeral service for Lois Marie Robertson will be at 2pmCT, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Paul Roy and Bro. Andy Robertson officiating. Visitation after 10am Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Friendship Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Tim Abernathy, Greg Dick, Mark Robertson, Dustin Oakes, Zach Oakes, and Trevor Robertson

She was born Sunday, January 20, 1924 in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lucian & Nannie Bradley Luttrell. She died Monday, December 1, 2014, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age fo 90 years, 10 months, and 11 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Friendship United Bapist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Robertson; a son, Bobby Robertson and three brothers, Verlin, Eddie, and Johnny Luttrell.

Survivors include the following:
  • Four children: Betty (Alvin) Thorsen, Columbia, KY; Bonnie (Marion) Richardson; Billy (Becky) Robertson; and Stevie (Sheila) Robertson, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Twenty-two great grandchildren

  • One brother: Earl Luttrell, Trafalgar, IN

  • Daughter-in-law: Lynna Robertson, Russell Springs, KY
