By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson Men’s Soccer faces Texas at Brownsville in NAIA National Championship Second Round Monday evening, at 5:30pmCT/6:30pmET, 1 Dec 2014 at Seacrest Soccer Complex, 2505 N Seacrest Boulevard, Delray Beach, FL, Delay Beach, FL. This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. Lindsey Wilson is playing in its NAIA record 21st-straight national championship and boasts the most overall postseason victories with 51. The Blue Raiders (14-2-3) advanced to the final site by defeating Lindenwood-Belleville (IL) 3-1 on penalty kicks in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round on November 22, 2014. Keane McIvor, Adis Islamovic and Anthony Tshimpi were all successful from the penalty spot while goalkeeper Dalyan Hawes saved three shots in the shootout. Islamovic, Tshimpi, Elijah Ukpong and Tom Moody have each scored four goals this season. Hawes has tallied 50 saves in 19 games between the posts, allowing just 13 goals. Texas at Brownsville (21-0-0) won the Red River Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championships. The Ocelots advanced to the final site after knocking off Rocky Mountain (Mont.) 2-1 on Nov. 22 and are the only undefeated team remaining in the NAIA. Three players have scored double-figure goals for Texas at Brownsville this season. Ricardo Diegues is ranked second in the NAIA with 63 total points and 27 total goals scored. Carlos Acevedo has scored 14 goals on the season, while Victor Parreiras has 13 goals on the season. Goalkeepers Axel Svenson and Guilherme Altoe have combined for 57 saves in 24 games this year.
