Robert Dale Martin, Knifley, KY (1964-2014)

He was native of La Porte, IN, and a resident of Knifley, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Shirley Lee Martin, Sr., and Betty Sue Chaney Martin. His wife of 28 years, Marcie Greenwell Martin, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants and was expecting a grandson. He leaves many relatives in Adair, and other parts of Kentucky and Indiana.

Robert Dale Martin of Knifley, KY died at 4:40pmCT, Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be at 9amCT/10amET, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Bro. Harold Dupps. Burial will be in the Martin Family Cemetery in Adair County. Visitation will be after 8amCT/9amET, Monday.



Robert Dale Martin, Knifley, KY (1964-2014)

Robert Dale Martin of Knifley, KY son of the late Shirley Lee Martin, Sr. and Betty Sue Chaney Martin was born August 25, 1964, in La Porte, La Porte County, Indiana. He died at Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 50 years, three months, and two days.

He united in marriage to Marcie Greenwell September 27, 1986.

Besides his wife, Marcie Martin, he is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and one daughter: Nathanial Robert Martin of Knifley, KY; Chase Ryan Martin and wife, Mary of Russell Springs, KY; Autumn Jewell Burton and husband Jeremy of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Aubree Renee Owens and Kaia Renley Martin and an unborn grandson

  • Three brothers and two sisters: Shirley Lee Martin, Jr. and wife, wife, Maria of Monticello, KY; Dennis Martin and wife, Louise and Daniel Martin and wife, Shannon of Knifley, KY; Teresa Zuwacki and husband Richard of Walkerton, Indiana; and Sandy Mayes of La Porte, Indiana

  • One sister-in-law, Lynn Martin of English, Indiana

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lee Martin.
