LWC basketball teams play at Georgetown Sat 22 Nov 2014 By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's and women’s basketball teams match up with Georgetown (KY) Saturday Nov. 22 in Georgetown, Kentucky. The women’s and men’s games are scheduled to start at at 1pmCT/2pmET, and 3pmCT/4pmET respectively at Davis-Reid Alumni Gym 500 E College Street. Georgetown, Kentucky. On the women’s side, the Blue Raiders (6-1, 0-1 MSC) are coming off a 79-70 loss to Shawnee State (Ohio) on Nov. 20. Cassidy Martin scored 16 points for the team and leads the squad with 14.0 points per game. Bre Elder and Chanel Roberts are also averaging double-figures with 12.4 and 11.8 points, respectively. Lindsey Wilson plays No. 17 Georgetown (3-3, 0-3) who has lost three-straight games to begin Mid-South Conference play. The Tigers are coming off a 63-55 loss at home to Cumberland (TN). Devanny King leads Georgetown with 12.5 points per game and is ranked 16th in the NAIA with 57 total rebounds. Lindsey Wilson went 0-2 against Georgetown last year. Men's side On the men’s side, the Blue Raiders (4-3, 1-1 MSC) are coming off a 69-52 win over Shawnee State on Nov. 20. Bryan Wallace led the team with 14 points, while Kevin Bradshaw tallied six points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Julian Edmonson leads Lindsey Wilson with 14.2 points per game, while D’on Hall and Wallace are each averaging 12 points per game. After starting conference play 0-2, No. 8 Georgetown (4-2, 1-2 MSC) is coming off a 74-54 victory over Cumberland. Gerard Coleman and Noah Cottrill are each averaging over 20 points per game with 24.3 and 23.0 points, respectively.
