Joyce Coomer says some teacher absences unavoidable Comments about: Rickie Williams comments on Adair School Attendance By Joyce Coomer The majority of school teachers are women. Most of those women have children. A lot of the children are school age. School-age children occasionally get sick. The school system doesn't need sick children at school, spreading whatever illness they might have. Day care centers don't need sick children present either. If the teachers who are women and mothers have a sick child, sometimes the only thing they can do is take a day off from work to be with that child. Joyce M. Coomer 270-384-4495 This story was posted on 2014-11-20 10:35:30
