Guy White, Taylor County, KY (1934-2014)

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after twenty-one years of service and a retired farmer and furniture maker. He was a native of Taylor County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Vertie Willie White and Annie Ethel Curry White. He leaves 19 direct living descendants.

Guy White, age 80 years, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 6:30pmET, Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral service will be at 11amCT/12pm noon ET, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Wesley Paul. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, W. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 8:30amCT/9:30amET, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Guy White, Taylor County, KY (1934-2014)


Guy White of Campbellsville, KY, was the son of the late Vertie Willie White and Annie Ethel Curry White. He was born Tuesday, July 24, 1934, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 80 years, three months, and 22 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after twenty-one years of service and a retired farmer and furniture maker.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons and three daughters: Steven White of Elk Horn, KY; Barry White, Candace Wilson and Vickie Strader of Campbellsville, KY; and Debbie Carlton of Nebraska

  • Seven grandchildren: David Smith, III, Jessie Carlton, Justin Phillips, Tasha Goff, Summer Wilson, Krystal Alexander and Jordan Strader

  • Seven great-grandchildren: Davin Phillips, Lyla Phillips, Hayden Goff, Ayden Strader, Brooklyn Alexander, Kronnya Alexander and Patience Alexander

  • One brother and seven sisters: Harold White and wife, Susan; and Carol Davis and husband, Larry of Elk Horn, KY; Audrey Jones, Nelda Berry and husband James, Ola Davis, Arlene Hunt and husband, Tommy and Judy Bright and husband Alvin of Campbellsville, KY; and Hilda Parker and husband, Billy of Tennessee

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason White November 7, 2010 and a brother, James “Roundy” White October 18, 2014.
