Alan Reed: Winning Tradition continues for Adair Band

By Alan W. Reed

Good morning everyone!

The Adair County Marching Band continued its winning tradition with a special grand finale this year - the national championship in class A at Bands of America. There simply is no higher award

. I want to thank the many teachers and assistants who have inspired these wonderful young people over the years. I also would like to send a big shout out to the parents who have sacrificed of their time, money and energy to make it possible for our students to experience success through hard work. And, I certainly don't want to forget the Adair County community members who cheer us on.

To the ACHS leadership, faculty and staff, and Mr. Case and his team, and especially our students - -we all extend another round of applause for a season of accomplishments! Alan W. Reed, Superintendent, Adair County Schools, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728
