LWC Women's Swimming defeats St. Catharine, 141-40

Lindsey Wilson's men's swim team will apply for a forfeit in today's meet due to a lack of swimmers for St. Catharine

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming defeated visiting St. Catharine (KY) by a final score of 141-40 on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Holloway Center Natatorium. In all, the Blue Raiders finished the day with four national 'A' and 'B' standards. During the 200-yard medley relay, Lindsey Wilson achieved a pair of national 'A' cuts.

The 'A' relay team of Kelsey Marshall, Laura Stephenson, Elena Nikolaeva and Courtney Fleeger combined to post a 2:03.64 finish, and the 'B' relay of Tori Caudill, Kelsey St. Charles, Susan Herrington and Natalie Miller teamed to race a 2:08.89. Competing in the 50-yard freestyle, Nikolaeva earned a national 'B' standard with her finish of 26.36. Stephenson posted a finish of 1:01.55 in the 100-yard butterfly to qualify for a national 'A' standard.
