Casey Co., KY injury collision: Both drivers airlifted to UK

LIBERTY, KY - Tpr. Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred Saturday, November 8, 2014 at approximately 7:25pmET, Sun 9 Nov 2014, 10 miles east of Liberty at the junction of KY 49 and KY 78.



29-year-old Ronnie Johnson, of Liberty, KY was traveling south on KY 49, operating a 1998 Ford Mustang. Johnson's vehicle sideswiped a northbound 2005 Saturn, operated by 57-year-old Judy A. Gruber, of Bradfordsville.

Neither operator was belted and they were both airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital. Tpr. Likins was assisted at the scene by the Casey County Sheriff's Department, Brush Creek Fire Department and Casey County EMS.
