She was a member of the New Life for the Nations, factory worker and a homemaker. She was a native of McCreary County, KY, and a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Harlan a& Loria Bell Brooks Worley. Her husband, Danny Harvey, survives. She leaves three direct and one step living descendant.

Rita Harvey age 51 of Columbia, KY passed away Friday November 7, 2014 at 11:30amCT, at her home after an illness.

Funeral service Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2pmCT at Stotts-Phelps- McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Rev. Gerald Reliford and Shirley Powell. Interment will be in in Union Cemetery, 174 Milltown Church Road, Columbia KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Sunday, November 9, 2014.

She was born on Thursday, August 29, 1963 in McCreary County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Harlan & Loria Bell Brooks Worley. She died Friday, November 7, 2014, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 51 years, two months, and nine days. She is survived by her husband Danny Harvey of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son Brian (Bethany) Harvey of Columbia, KY

  • Step-daughter Jessica (Allen) Kelly of Lexington, KY

  • Two brothers Ralph Lee Worley Carrolton, GA & Harlan Lynn Worley of Birmingham, AL

  • Two sisters Phyllis Roy of Carrolton, GA & Fredia Roy of Columbia, KY

  • Two Grandchildren Brenton & Brinlee Harvey

  • Father-in-law Benton Harvey of Columbia, KY

  • Specials nieces Loria Ann Minks & Leona Weaver

  • Specials nephews Lonnie Roy & Brandon Roy

  • Brother-in-law & sister-in-law Steve & Angie Harvey of Columbia, KY

  • Several other nieces, nephews & a host of other relatives & friends
Preceded in death by one sister Jewelline Daniel.

Rita was a member of the New Life for the Nations, factory worker and a homemaker.
