LWC Men's Soccer hosts Georgetown in MSC Tournament Quarterfinals Lindsey Wilson College Men's Soccer enters the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed, while Georgetown is the No. 8 seed By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The fourth-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team hosts Georgetown (KY) in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Quarterfinals at 2pmCT, Sat 8 Nov 2014, at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Holloway Drive, Columbia, KY. Lindsey Wilson enters the tournament as the No. 1 overall seed, while Georgetown is the No. 8 seed. The Blue Raiders (11-2-2, 6-0-1 MSC) are coming off a 1-1 tie with second-ranked Ashford (Iowa) on Nov. 1. Anthony Tshimpi scored the first goal of the game in the 51st minute off an assist from Tom Moody. The Eagles' Leonardo Machado then tied the game at one in the 75th minute. Moody is second on the squad with 13 points this season. Adis Islamovic is second on the team with four goals scored. Dalyan Hawes has 35 saves in 15 games and is ranked ninth in the NAIA allowing .68 goals per game. Georgetown (5-12, 1-6 MSC) is coming off a 3-1 loss to Pikeville (Ky.) on Nov. 3. Trent Boyd, Hunter Conner, Aaron Stover and JT Stephens all lead the Tigers with two goals scored on the season. Lindsey Wilson and Georgetown have met once this season resulting in a 2-0 win for the Blue Raiders on the road. Jorim Chari scored the first goal in the 22nd minute, while Moody scored in the 78th minute. The Blue Raiders outshot the Tigers 19-4 in that game.
