Women's team holds its home opener followed immediately by the men's contest By Matthew Stokes COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's basketball teams host Miami (OH)-Middletown starting at 6pmCT on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. On Saturday, November 1, the Blue Raiders (1-0) claimed an 83-66 victory in their season-opener against Brescia (KY). Lindsey Wilson scored 52 second-half points to edge the home team. Five Blue Raiders ended the day with double-figure point totals, including Cassidy Martin (15), Bre Elder (11), Kayla Richardson (11), Chanel Roberts (11) and Billie Hearn (10). Tonight's game marks the 2014-15 season opener for the visiting ThunderHawks. In the nightcap, Lindsey Wilson men's team (1-2) enters on the heels of an 83-67 road loss to Martin Methodist (TN) on Wednesday, November 5. Last time out, Bryan Wallace led the Blue Raiders with 18 points, the highest total by a Lindsey Wilson player through three games this season. Opposing the Blue Raiders is a ThunderHawks team (0-3) in search of their first victory. Most recently, Miami (OH)-Middletown lost, 87-67, at Cincinnati Christian (OH) over the weekend.
