Campbellsville Police make two arrests following pursuit Drivers fail to stop when CPD Officer Jeremy Burris initiates his emergency equipment; after a short pursuit to Buckner Street, vehicle pulls over, occupants exit and flee on foot. Man and woman quickly overtaken, taken into custody; now facing a number of charges. From Campbellsville, KY e911 On Saturday, October 25, 2014 at approximately 4:30pmET, Officer Jeromy Burris attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle in reference to a traffic violation in the area East Broadway and South Jackson Street, Campbellsville, KY. As Officer Burris initiated his emergency equipment, but the vehicle failed to stop and sped away. After a short pursuit, the vehicle pulled over in the area of Buckner Street and the two occupants of the vehicle fled on foot. Christopher Tucker age 37 and Stephanie L. Dickens age 18 both of Campbellsville were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Tucker was charged with; DUI, Possession of an Open Alcoholic Container in a Vehicle, Resisting Arrest, Fleeing or Evading, Criminal Mischief, and several other traffic violations. Dickens was charged with; Fleeing or Evading on Foot, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree 1st offense (> or =2 gms Meth), Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 oz.) 1st offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
