The Deadline for nominations for a Minority Member of the Adair County Elementary School (ACES), 870 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY, has been extended until October 29, 2014, with the election now set for October 31, 2014. Adair County Elementary is taking this opportunity to inform you of the fact that our "Minority" student population stands at 9.4% as of October 1, 2914.

According to KRS 160.345, school councils in schools having 8% or more minority students shall have at least one minority school representative on the Site Base Decision Making Council.

We are very excited about this opportunity to ensure that our SBDM Council is strengthened. We feel that this opportunity only stands to enhance our decision making at ACES. We will be taking nominations for our Minority Representative from September 25-October 29, 2014.
