Rebecca Sue Campbell, Adair Co., KY (1939-2014)

She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, had worked at Fruit of Loom and was a retired cook from the Adair County Board of Education. She was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was a member of a highly regarded South Adair County Family, the daughter of the late James Noel and Piccola Blanch Hagan Reliford. She was the widow of husbnds Earl Wilson and Billy G. Campbell.

Rebecca Sue Campbell age 74 years of the Sparksville community,Columbia, KY passed away Monday October 13, 2014 at 6:12pmCT, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 1:00 PM. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jessie Hagan the officiating clergy. Interment in Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road (Adair County), KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Pete Reliford, Stephen Reliford, Jimmy Campbell, Tony Campbell, Johnnie Tarter, Edward Grant & Brian Campell.

Rebecca Sue Campbell, Adair Co., KY (1939-2014)

She was born on Tuesday, November 21, 1939 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late James Noel and Piccola Blanch Hagan Reliford. She died Monday, October 13, 2014, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 74 years, 10 months, and 22 days. She was preceded in death by husbands Ollis Earl Wilson on June 12, 1998 abd Billy G. Campbell on August 29, 2013.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Timmy Earl Wilson of Columbia, KY; Scotty Dale Wilson of Columbia, KY; and Phillip Kevin Wilson of Columbia, KY

  • Step-daughters: Nancy Debra Welsh of Shepherdsville, KY; Sheri Lynn Campbell of Columbia, KY; and Shelia Marie Snyder of Louisville, KY

  • One brother: Pete (Pat) Reliford of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, step-Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Campbell; and one brother, Danny Reliford.

She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, had worked at Fruit of Loom and was a retired after serving as a cook at the Adair County Board of Education.
