Rebecca Jean Nunnally, 62, Metcalfe County, KY (d. 5 Oct 2014)

She was a member of a highly regarded Metcalfe County, KY, family. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Bartley and Imogene Whitelow Johnston, who survives. Her husband, Tommy Nunnally, survives. She leaves six direct living descendants. She was a retired teacher of the Metcalfe County School System and member of the South Edmonton Church of Christ.

Rebecca Jean Nunnally, age 62, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Edmonton.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, October 7, 2014, and after 9amCT, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Ralph Bartley and Mary Imogene Whitlow Johnston of Edmonton, KY, who survives.

She was a retired teacher of the Metcalfe County School System and member of the South Edmonton Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Nunnally of Edmonton,
  • One son: Jonathan and wife Charity Nunnally of Edmonton, KY

  • One brother: Bill Bartley of Edmonton, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Holden White, Kennedy Bates, Hunter Nunnally, Ethan Bates and Trigg Nunnally
Besides her father she was preceded in death by a son, Brent Nunnally; step-father E.T. Johnston, father in law and mother in law Clyde and Jean Nunnally, sister in law Martha Norris and a brother in law Maxie Nunnally.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
