Betty Jean Jones, 78, departed this life Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

Funeral services will be at 6pmCT, Thursday, 2 Oct 2014, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Ernest Fields, Jr., officiating. Visitation will be after 1pmCT, Thursday, until funeral time. There will be no burial after the service, the family has chosen cremation.

Betty Jean Jones was born Monday, December 30, 1935 in Marion County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Roberta Wright Boswell. She departed this life Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Green County, KY, having attained the age of 78 years, eight months and 29 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Jones, and one sister, Sue Sergeant.

She is survived by the following:
  • Four sons and two daughters: Steve Jones of Louisville, KY; Billy Jones and Tracy Cope of Gravel Switch, KY; Joe Bert, Robin Mays and Danny Jones, all of Lebanon, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Larry Boswell and Ann Ciros, both of California
