Kermit J. Brockman, Casey County, KY (1939-2014)

He was a farmer and retired from Green River Gate. Kermit was a member of the Cedar Springs Baptist Church. He was a native of Liberty, KY and a resident of Windsor, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Marion and Beulah Bernard Brockman. His wife of over 50 years, Rebia Luttrell Brockman, survives. He leaves 34 direct living descendants.

Kermit Junior Brockman passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at his home in Windsor, KY. He was 75.

Funeral services are 10amCT/11amET, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Ensley Wright, Jr. officiating. Kermit will be laid to rest in Birdie Russell Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Kermit J. Brockman, Casey County, KY (1939-2014)

Born Sunday, January 8, 1939 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Marion and Beulah Bernard Brockman. He died Friday, September 26, 2014, in Windsor, KY, at the age of 75 years, eight months, and 18 days.

He was a farmer and retired from Green River Gate. Kermit was a member of the Cedar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Rebia Luttrell Brockman, whom he married November 9, 1963 and the following:
  • A son: Allan Brockman of Windsor, KY

  • A daughter: Sue Wethington of Windsor, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Twenty-two great-grandchildren

  • Three brothers: David (and Janice) Brockman of Milford, Ohio; Lloyd (and Laverda) of Russell Springs, KY; and Dorman (and Modine) Brockman of Milford, Ohio

  • And a brother-in-law: C. L. Sayers, of Windsor, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Herman Eads; grandson, Kevin Eads, and a sister, Jerrence Sayers.
