The third and final set did not come easy for the Blue Raiders. After being down 14-9 Lindsey Wilson tied the score up at 16 before going on a 5-1 run to make the score 21-17. But a pair of Blue Raider attack errors trimmed Lindsey Wilson's lead to two at 22-20.

The teams traded kills and the Patriots answered a Sarah Shilling kill with a pair of their own to make it 24-23 in favor of Lindsey Wilson. On the final point, the Blue Raiders went back to Shilling as Makenzie Montano set a perfect ball for Shilling to finish and secure the third and final set.
