Ralph Waggener: Bam Carney grandstanding at its best

CJE Ann Melton's past record on roads and her courage in tackling the hospital have won writer's endorsement
In response to: Bill Henson on Road Money Issue: Way it's always been

By Ralph (Out of Order) Waggener
Personal Commentary

To Bill Henson: Really Bill, you know better. This was grandstanding at its best; we had already received the money for roads that this would have dipped into. Bam Carney is for Taylor, not Adair, and that’s OK.

We have had a lot of road work done for many years by Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton. We have had more roads built by her and have saved more money on these roads than at any time in Adair’s history.

Mike Stevens is a good person no doubt, but Ann should be re-elected on her past record of money saved and roads built.

She had the nerve to tackle the hospital debacle by pushing the hospital board to stand up to Tungate and stop the bleeding; and for that alone she should be praised, not slandered as many have done.

Again. this is Ralph Roy Waggener and very much in order on this issue!
