Gregory Somerset, KY (September 8, 2014) - The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Columbia man in connection with a stolen lawn mower from Somerset. On July 30, 2014 the sheriff's office was called to investigate the theft of a Gator Made utility trailer along with a Cub Cadet riding mower, yard trimmer and a leaf blower - all stolen from a residence on Tanya Lane in Somerset. The stolen items were all worth more than $8500. On August 12, 2014 the sheriff's office was called to a residence on West Highway 80 where a suspect had attempted to steal another utility trailer. Detectives tracked the suspect vehicle to a residence on Grider Road in Adair County where they found the stolen Cub Cadet mower, trimmer and blower from the first theft. The stolen utility trailer has not yet been located. Detectives found no one was home but their investigation led to the identification of the suspect involved in the thefts.
