34 year old Campbellsvillian arrested in thefts case

In sll, six victims were identified after CPD investigates thefts from vehicles parked in the Lowell Avenue Area.

The Campbellsville Police Department today (Tuesday September 9, 2014) investigated a number of thefts from vehicles in the Lowell Avenue area of Campbellsville, KY.

At approximately 11amET, Campbellsville Police received reports of vehicles being unlawfully entered and items stolen. In all, there were six victims who had left their vehicles unlocked and items stolen.



Officer Roy Rodgers responded and initiated an investigation from the first reports. Officer Scotty Perian responded the latter reports. Both Officers canvassed the area and recovered most of the items stolen.

Officer Rodgers arrested Timothy Brian Hicks; age 34; Sassy Court; Campbellsville. Hicks was charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking (contents from vehicle); Public Intoxication; and Terroristic Threatening.

Hicks was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.

The investigation is continuing while other victims are identified. - Anne Sanders
