19-year-old arrested in alleged car theft case

Columbia Police Department arrested an Adair County man after a stolen vehicle was found to have been in his possession.

On September 6, 2014, at 11:36pmCT. CPD officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at Ronnie Stones car lot located on Hudson street.



Officers were able to recover the vehicle being an Chevrolet Impala in the immediate area and through witness reports obtain a possible suspect.

After further investigation 19-year-old Daniel Hardison of Columbia was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over 500 and criminal mischief 3rd degree. Hardison was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
