Eureka Faye Johnson, 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio (formerly of Russell County) died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Mercy Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati.

Graveside service for Eureka Faye Johnson will be 9amCT, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at McBeath Cemetery in Russell County, KY. No visitation. Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.

She was born January 28, 1923 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late James King & Elgie Susie McBeath Holder.

She was a homemaker and a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Elgar Johnson; brother, Orvil McBeath and 3 sisters, Ila Gadberry, Elsie Rose, Olga Popplewell.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Curtis Johnson, Cincinnati, Ohio; and James Johnson, Russell Springs, KY

  • A grandaughter: Jill Ann Fossett

  • Two great grandsons
