Lindsey Wilson College Football lost it's Season Opener at Blue Raider Stadium, Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2014 in a high scoring, narrow defeat to Reinhardt University, by a narrow 52-48 score.

LWC Football: Chaz Barnes

Lindsey Wilson College wide receiver Chaz Barnes of Alcoa, Tenn., completes a 47-yard pass play in the first quarter of Saturday's game against Reinhardt (Ga.) University at Blue Raider Stadium. The play set up LWC's second touchdown, which gave the Blue Raiders a 13-0 lead. But the Eagles rallied to upset No. 18 LWC 52-48. For the game, Barnes caught seven pass for 131 yards.

left, is presented the 2013-14 Mid-South Conference President's Cup by MSC Conference Commissioner Eric Ward on Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2014, before the LWC-Reinhardt (GA) University football game at Blue Raider Stadium. The trophy - which recognizes the top overall program in the intercollegiate athletics conference - was won in '13-14 by LWC for the third consecutive year and fourth time overall. Among 10 conference teams, LWC scored 111 out of a possible 120 points in '13-14, which matched the program's 2012-13 point total. The 111 points is tied for the third highest total in the history of the Mid-South President's Cup. - DUANE BONIFER, Lindsey Wilson College
