LWC Volleyball powers past IU Southeast with 3-0 sweep Blue Raiders finished with an attacking percentage of .352 in the win Click on headline for full story By Charles Balcom News from Lindsey Wilson College NEW ALBANY, IN - The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team swept host IU Southeast in three sets Wednesday night, August 27, 2014. The Blue Raiders improve to 4-1 on the season with the win. All three sets began close, but eventually the powerful Lindsey Wilson offense proved to be too much for the Grenadiers. Senior Nadelina Nesheva led the way for Lindsey Wilson with 13 kills while posting a .400 attacking percentage. Sarah Shilling finished with nine kills on 14 swings for an attacking percentage of .643. Freshman Catie Cline added seven kills while Sarah Anderson, Daryna Liutikova and Makenzie Montano each chipped in five. Montano led the way with 30 assists on the night while Kirsten King totaled 10 digs. The squad finished with a team attacking percentage of .352. The Grenadiers (1-1) were led by Sara Schum who finished the evening with 11 kills. Michala Beasley added eight kills while Meaghen Tompkins tallied 20 assists on the night.
