Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Friday, August 22, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Thursday, and after 9amCT, Friday at the funeral home. He was the son of John France Riddle, Sr. and Naomi Ruth Hurt Shirley of Glasgow, KY, who survives. He was an employee of R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Glasgow. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Peggy Jean Smith Riddle of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
