The Pines at LW tops Green Co. in Ryder Cup competition, 17-7

The Pines at Lindsey Wilson Ryder cup team played Green County on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17, 2014.



They played 36 holes on Saturday starting with a 18 hole round of Best Ball. The Pines went up 4 to 2 after the morning session.

In the afternoon session, The Pines once again won 4 to 2 bringing the points to 8 for The Pines and 4 for Green County.

Sunday championship round

The Pines at Lindsey Wilson then only needed 4.5 points to win the cup on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Twelve individual matches were played with the The Pines at Lindsey Wilson team starting off strong. They were up in 8 out of the 12 matches early on. The Pines and Lindsey Wilson went on to win 9 out of the 12 matches to win the cup.
