Ed Pipalski: Answer to last John Ford statement

Personal commentary

Ed Pipalski writes:
Dear Mr. Ford,

You have made serious allegations of misconduct by the petro-chemical industry as has the Somerset mayor and city council, however an allegation is not fact and this being America we all including the companies have a right to due process.
Fact 1. The Commerce Department has agreed to look into the allegations of violations of U.S. Anti-Trust Laws; the monopoly you refer to. A Federal Civil Court may order the break up of such an organization, however this has not occurred. Keep in mind the presumption of innocence.
Fact 2. If you have proof of violations to Kentucky's Revised Statutes contact the Kentucky Attorney General. Unfair Trade Practices are covered under chapter 365. Specifically, 365.020, 365.030 and 365.050. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with these laws.
Fact 3. As your personal assault on my integrity; I served honorably in the United States Armed Forces for over twenty-years. I have earned the Meritorious Service Medal twice, I am a combat infantryman and green beret and finally I was hand picked by the Secretary of the Army (civilian leadership) to go to Washington, D.C. and become an Inspector General which duties I successfully performed as the Assistance & Investigation Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) at Fort Benning, GA (a small community of over 150,000 soldiers, family members and civilian employees) for over four years.
How dare you! - Ed Pipalski
