Link/Politico: Some interesting coverage, Fancy Farm

We haven't heard more from the Porter Stotts, Adair Countian at Fancy Farm since he landed there Friday, but there are a number of interesting accounts of exchange between Senator Mitch McConnell and his challenger, Alison Lundergan Grime, at Fancy Farm red meat: The choice cuts.

The site also has coverage of Senator Rand Paul's appearance at Fancy Farm and his poetry - not up to Billy Joe Fudge quality, but a decent enough limerick, after all. It's at Poetic Paul rhymes at Grimes.

Fossicking around on Politico, there is one story with a paragraph about Commissioner of Agriculture James Comer's announcement that he is running for governor and in the same story mention that Matt Biven is also a potential candidate for the state's top job.

We do expect that Porter Stotts will have the best take on the event, to make a long story short, though Politico beat him to the punch with a mention of Governor Beshear's selfie with Senator Mitch McConnell and his quip. - EW
