19 LWC Athletic Programs achieved over a 3.0 GPA in 2013-14

The women's bowling program led all teams with a 3.63 total grade point average

COLUMBIA, KY - Nineteen Lindsey Wilson athletic programs achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2013-14 academic year.

The Blue Raider women's bowling program achieved the highest team total with a 3.63 GPA, followed by the cheerleading team with a 3.60 average. Next is the women's soccer team with a 3.58 GPA.



All varsity student-athletes combined for a 3.08 grade point average during the 2013-14 academic year.

Other teams above a 3.0 include women's tennis (3.53), volleyball (3.51), women's swimming (3.44), men's tennis (3.43), softball (3.41), men's soccer (3.35), women's indoor track and field (3.34), women's outdoor track and field (3.34), women's basketball (3.19), men's swimming (3.16), cycling (3.15), men's golf (3.13), men's indoor track and field (3.11), women's cross country (3.08), women's golf (3.08) and men's outdoor track and field (3.05).

Of the 19 teams, 16 were awarded NAIA Scholar-Team honors.
