Bernice L. Gaskin, 87, Maple Street, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Jeff Griffin officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-7pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel. Burial will be in the Russell County Memorial Gardens, Russell Springs, KY.

She was born January 12, 1927m in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Melvin Bennett and the late Talitha Bowen Bennett. She died Saturday, July 19, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 87 years, six months, and seven days. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by the following:
  • A Daughter: Carma (Barry) Weston, Louisville, KY

  • A grandson: James Robertson, Louisville, KY

  • Step-granddaughter: Yvette Sanders, Bowling Green, KY

  • A host of nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, Losier B. Gaskins and several siblings.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
