Funeral service for Bessie Meece will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, June 29, 2014, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Larold Gosser and Bro. Ted Stidham officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Friendship Cemetery. Special music by the Heirs by Grace. Pallbearers: Daniel Meece, Phillip Keith, Danny Johnson, Gary Blanton, Bobby Antle, and Ronnie Jackson. She died Thursday, June 26, 2014, in Corbin, KY, at the age of 79 years, one month, and 13 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem United Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Gene Meece; three brothers, Jack Wilson, Frank Wilson, Leon Wilson; and two sisters, Alice Whittle, Mary Ann Wilson.
