Clinton County man dies after car rear-ends semi truck

Albany, KY, driver, Jerry Hadley, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene after rear end collision with semi-truck driven by Timothy Beaty, Breeding, KY. A passenger in the Hadley vehicle, Patrick Scott, Breeding, KY, and driver of semi treated and released at Clinton Co. Hospital in Albany, KY.

(Albany, KY) – Tpr. Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred on Tuesday, June 24 at 10:47pmCT on KY 90. 34-year-old Jerry Hadley, of Albany, KY, was operating a 1994 Chevy 4-door, traveling east on KY 90, 3 miles north of Albany.



Hadley rear ended a 2007 Mack semi truck that was also eastbound, but making a left hand turn into a business. The Mack was operated by 33-year-old Timothy Beaty, of Breeding, KY.

Hadley, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, 34-year-old Patrick Scott, of Breeding, was wearing a seatbelt and was treated and released at Clinton County Hospital.

Beaty was wearing a seatbelt and was also treated and released at Clinton County Hospital. The collision remains under investigation.
