More than 125 Lindsey Wilson College students from five states met Saturday in Columbia for the college's annual School of Professional Counseling Student Retreat Day.

The day - which brings together students from the college's 26 community campuses in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia - provides professional development seminars, talks about career development and games to students in LWC's nationally accredited School of Professional Counseling.

The students began the day in Biggers Sports Center, with special guest Blue Raider Bob.

Through an innovative partnership with community colleges and businesses in those five states, LWC offers a bachelor of arts degree in human services and counseling and a master of education degree in counseling and human development. - Duane Bonifer, Director of Public Relations, Columbia, KY
