Sad word that Rachel Hazel, age 97, of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Saturday at her home in Greensburg, KY has reached. Information now available is as follows: The funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Hazel will be conducted at 1pmCT, Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY with burial in the Hazel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30amCT, Tuesday until time of the service at the funeral home.



She is survived by her daughter: Dorothy Lou Hazel Montgomery of Greensburg; a sister, Arlene Miller of Edmonton, KY; a half sister, Jane Woodrum of Florida; grandchildren, Teddy Montgomery and Vickie and Jeff McIntosh of Greensburg, KY; Great-grandchildren: Mandi Thompson of Greensburg, KY; Melany Sharpe of Mt. Washington, KY, and Miranda McIntosh of Greensburg. KY; Great-great-grandchildren, Colton, Houston, Hazel, Hallie, and Kyler.
