Funeral dervices will be conducted on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1pmCT/2pmET, ) in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary Cash and Bro. Steve Carney officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 12pm noon CT/1pmET on Thursday, June 19, 2014 until the funeral hour on Friday. She died Monday, June 16, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 89 years, 5 months, and 30 days. She was a technician for Payton's of Louisville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Conrad Higginbotham; her son,, Benny James Higginbotham; her brothers, Cordis Davis and Kenny Davis; her sisters, Bertie Scott and Billie Myers; three infant sisters and her brothers-in-law, Floyd Clark and Orville Earl Scott.
