Retired Columbia Businesswoman will be 90, June 14, 2014

Lola Arleen Jessee will be 90 years old on June 14, 2014.

She was the owner of Columbia Window Fashions for many years, and was one of the most respected business leaders in Adair County during her ownership of the widely known business, which was located on Russell Road/KY 80.

She was a very talented interior decorator/designer with her work on homes, boats and business across the state.



She did a lot of work on boats which were on display at the National Sport Boat and Vacation show.

Her work was highly regarded by the Louisville Yacht Club, Jamestowner Boat Company, and many others. Her work is still on display at many homes and business in this area.

She's now a resident of Summit Manor in Columbia, KY. She still proudly wears her University of Kentucky, as seen in a photo accompanying this article. - Tony Jessee.
