ACES is 9th in KY & S Indiana for Pennies for Patients drive

School goal was $3,000; exceeded their goal with grand total of $3,707.40

By Rachel Bardin

Adair County Elementary School participated in the annual Pennies for Patients fundraising program with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The school set a goal of $3000.00, but exceeded their goal with a grand total of $3707.40.

This placed the school at 9th of 304 schools in the Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapters.

The school received a plaque of recognition for their generosity. I am so proud to be apart of ACES and teach these generous hearts everyday. Accompanying photo shows Blake Powell, Logan Harris, Andy Willis, Taylor Smith, Hazel White, and Brittany McClister with the plaque received at the recognition banquet. - Rachel Bardin
